Verbs ending with er and ir  
 
Take the verbs in infinite form and add the following termination to er.  
 
Je ® ai Nous ® ons  
Tu ® as Vous ® ez  
Il ® a Ils ® ont  
Elle ® a Elle ® ont  
 
Example:  
vous achèterez des légumes.  
 
Verbs ending with re  
 
Take the verb in infinite form and remove the e and add the termination as shown above:  
 
Example:  
Elle écrira la lettre.

Aller ® Ir + termination  
Avoir ® Aur + terminations  
Être ® Ser + terminations  
Faire ® Fer + terminations  
Recevoir ® Recevr + terminations  
Voir ® Verr + terminations  
Venir ® Viendr + terminations  
Tenir ® Tiendr + terminations  
Pouvoir ® Pourr + terminations  
 
Example:  
Demain, J'irai au Japon et je rentrerai le mois prochain.
